Information change
IMPORTANT: These conditions apply EXCLUSIVELY to tickets purchased through our agency.
If you acquired your tickets through another channel, it is technically and legally impossible for us to access or modify them. We have no authority or control over tickets issued by third parties. Therefore, we cannot process any modification requests for external purchases. Please contact the platform or seller where you made your purchase directly.
When purchasing your tickets, we ask that you provide the final information regarding the entry (type, date, and time of entry) and each visitor (full name, nationality, document number, etc.). Although this information should be definitive, there are times when changes are possible — for example, changing the entry date, correcting a misspelled name, or updating a document number in case of loss or theft.
Changes may or may not be possible depending on the ticket status.
Tickets not yet issued
For tickets not yet issued, any change is possible.
- For a change to a lower-priced entry type (e.g., switching from a Wayna Picchu ticket to a Machu Picchu-only ticket), we refund the difference at no extra charge.
- For a change to a higher-priced entry type (e.g., switching from a Machu Picchu-only ticket to a Wayna Picchu ticket), you will be asked to pay the difference by credit card, with no additional fees.
- For a change to an entry type with the same price, the change is free and unlimited.
- For any other changes regarding the entry or visitor information, the change is free and unlimited.
Tickets being issued or already issued
Tickets are being issued when our agency has already reserved the entries but the tickets have not yet been issued. Tickets already issued are those we have sent you and are available. For these tickets, some information can be changed, while others cannot. For legal reasons, it is absolutely impossible to change ticket data or the name of a participant. Due to widespread fraud and a black market for entry tickets, the Peruvian government has established strict rules regarding changes (see excerpt below).
- No entry information (type, date, or time) can be changed.
- The visitor’s first or last name cannot be changed.
- Other visitor information such as gender, age, nationality, document type or document number can be changed, but only once per ticket and per visitor. Our agency will handle the official process with the authorities free of charge, make the change, and issue the corrected ticket. Since this process is manual, we ask that you notify us at least 48 hours before the visit.
